These cows have all been registered by American Breeding Farms to the American HF dairy cow breed standard (meeting American standards) at the American Dairy Association with high criteria on genetics and breed characteristics; capable of giving an admirable average milk yield: 11,000-12,500 liters/cow/305-day cycle, equivalent to 36-41 liters of milk/day. The fat content in milk reaches 3.6-3.8% and the protein content is over 2.7%.

The herd is highly rated for its excellent Genetic Performance Index (GTPI): 2.650. This is an indicator that evaluates the overall potential of the cow in terms of milk, reproduction, appearance, disease resistance and the ability to pass these indicators on to the next generation. The cow also has the potential to pass on the trait of low somatic cell count (below 100,000/ml of fresh milk) to help control mastitis, minimizing the use of veterinary drugs for cows.
