Visiting the 'red addresses' that marked the Soviet movement
In Nghe An, there are currently dozens of historical relics associated with the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement (1930 - 1931). Each relic is a "red address" that guides future generations to find the vibrant revolutionary struggle movement of the people of the homeland right from the founding of the Party.

Ben Thuy Junction is the place that marked the historic demonstration on May 1, 1930, when more than 1,200 workers and farmers gathered at Truong Thi Factory to protest for wage increases, reduced working hours, land division, and tax reduction. For the first time, the red flag with hammer and sickle flew on top of the Ben Thuy Junction lamp post. The enemy brutally suppressed, killing 7 people, injuring 18 others, and arresting hundreds of others. Speaking of relics associated with the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, we must mentionNghe Tinh Soviet Squarein Hung Nguyen town (Hung Nguyen district). This is the place that marked the heroic struggle of the people of Hung Nguyen and the surrounding areas in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement. At the same time, it was also the place that witnessed the crimes of colonialism and feudalism. On the morning of September 12, 1930, about 8,000 farmers under the leadership of the Party with rudimentary weapons, raised high the red flag of hammer and sickle and marched to Hung Nguyen district capital. Up in Nam Dan, there is the Tan Son Temple relic in Xuan Hoa commune. The temple was built on the top of Tan mountain, where the ancestor of the Le family, originally from Mac, was worshiped - Deputy King Mac Dang Luong. Tan Son Temple was associated with Le Hong Son's childhood and patriotic activities in his hometown. With its discreet and sacred location, the temple was chosen as a meeting place and place for printing Party documents. It was also the place where the Executive Committee of the Xuan Lieu General Party Cell was established, a place where the masses gathered to protest, and a workplace for the Soviet government in the years 1930 - 1931. At that time, the area around the sui tree was quite dense, and the tree trunk had many holes, so revolutionary cadres often chose it as a place to hide documents.
