(Baonghean.vn) - On July 27, units and localities visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids and martyrs on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee and representatives of the group "Do Luong shares love" visited and presented gifts to relatives of martyrs and war invalids in especially difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the delegation visited Mrs. Hoang Thi Thong - 73 years old, a war invalid in hamlet 7, Nam Son commune, who is raising her child who was injured in a traffic accident alone; Mrs. Dao Thi Lan - a martyr's relative, 92 years old this year, in hamlet 6, Bac Son commune; currently taking care of 3 disabled children, life is very difficult; Mr. Nguyen Trung Huy, 90 years old this year, a war invalid in Dang Son commune.
On behalf of the delegation, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam presented each family with a gift worth 3 million VND. This is a gesture of gratitude and sharing with the relatives of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in especially difficult circumstances.

On the morning of July 27, Yen Thanh district, together with the online community group Yen Thanh Group and relatives, held an inauguration ceremony and handed over a house of gratitude to Mr. Phan Sy Le, a relative of a martyr in Hamlet 4, Hoa Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.

Martyr Phan Sy Nguyen sacrificed his life in the resistance war against the US to save the country and is worshiped by his nephew Phan Sy Le. Currently, Le's family is in extremely difficult circumstances. The house where Le lives and worships the martyr is now seriously degraded.
After more than 3 months of construction, the new house was built solidly and beautifully with a usable area of 50 m2.2consists of 3 rooms in the style of a level 4 house with a total cost of nearly 200 million VND contributed by philanthropists, Yen Thanh Group online community and relatives and brothers.
Also at the handover ceremony, Tay An Joint Stock Company and Viet Phat Construction and Trade Company presented a savings book worth 100 million VND to Phan Sy Le and his brothers.
In addition, individuals, organizations, friends, and local authorities also donated money and some essential items for daily life to his family.

On the morning of July 27, the Nghe An Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station coordinated with the Dien Chau District Red Cross to give gifts to wounded soldiers being treated at Dien Chau General Hospital and distribute charity porridge at the hospital.
Officers and soldiers of Nghe An Road and Railway Traffic Police Department and Dien Chau Traffic Police Station directly presented 9 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 9 wounded soldiers being treated at Dien Chau General Hospital.

On this occasion, officers and soldiers also gave 100 bowls of charity porridge to poor patients being treated at the hospital.
In a series of activities to commemorate War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27 this year, officers and soldiers of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station presented 15 gifts to wounded soldiers who are relatives of officers and soldiers of the Station, each gift worth 500,000 VND. At the same time, they participated in the candle lighting ceremony at the district martyrs cemetery and the martyrs cemeteries of the communes.
