500 delegates attended the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

The 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, is a major political event, a turning point, of special significance in the process of construction and development of Nghe An province.

This is not only an occasion to summarize and evaluate the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, but also the first step to open a new development path, contributing to realizing the goal of building Nghe An into a fairly developed province of the country, a national growth pole, a North Central region center for industry, high-tech agriculture, education, health, science - technology, logistics, and tourism.

The Congress takes place in the context that the entire Party, people and army are striving to achieve results in welcoming the 14th National Party Congress; focusing on synchronously and resolutely implementing historic reforms and policies and many strategic breakthroughs to bring the country firmly into a new era of development.

The great achievements of the renovation process after 40 years, the outstanding results in the work of Party building and rectification, socio-economic development, national defense and security are a solid foundation for the Party Committee and people of Nghe An to continue to have confidence in the revolutionary path that our Party and people have chosen.

The 20th Provincial Party Congress will focus on democratically and objectively discussing the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and drawing profound lessons.

The Congress will also focus on discussing and determining directions, goals, tasks, and key solutions for the 2025-2030 period, as well as visions for the following years; electing the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 20th term for the 2025-2030 term; and electing the delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Promote democracy and collective intelligence to discuss and contribute ideas to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

This is an important preparation to join the whole country in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, bringing Vietnam firmly on the path of building a developed, high-income country by 2045.
