Pickleball prodigy Quang Duong interacts with fans in Vinh city

On the afternoon of April 16, at Quan Bau ward, Vinh city, Quang Duong, tennis playerPickleballThe world's 4th ranked young player had a meeting with fans in Vinh city.

Not only competing with his younger brother and Pickleball teams in Vinh city, Quang Duong also brought eye-catching plays, demonstrating his delicate ball handling skills and intelligent playing style, making the audience admire and excited many times.

“I was very surprised when I first came to Vinh city and received such a warm welcome. Everyone plays Pickleball very well, especially the young people, which makes me feel very happy and gives me more motivation to share my passion,” Quang Duong shared.

At the meeting, fans also heard interesting stories from Quang Duong's father, a former Vietnamese national table tennis player, his son's first teacher and also a great source of inspiration in his son's sports journey.

The exchange was not simply a friendly competition, but also a bridge to help Pickleball get closer to the people of Nghe An.

Quang Duong, full name Duong Thien Quang, was born in 2006 in California (USA), in a family with a tradition of sports. From a young age, Quang was familiar with table tennis, tennis, and padel before accidentally discovering Pickleball, a hybrid sport of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, in 2020 through a televised match.

At first, he only played for fun with his younger brother, but the more he played, the more passionate Quang became, attracted by the unique tactics and techniques of this new sport. With outstanding athleticism and a progressive spirit, after just over a year of professional competition, Quang has risen to the top of the PPA Tour world rankings.

He won the IHG Briston Open and achieved a series of other prestigious international titles, making the name "Quang Duong Pickleball" a phenomenon in the global Pickleball community.
