Thanh Chuong: Good news at 6 party cells at risk of having no party members

(Baonghean.vn) –In the first 7 months of 2017, Thanh Chuong District Party Committee admitted 252 new party members. Notably, 6 party cells at risk of no longer having party cells in 4 communes all developed new party members after many years of not admitting new members, including a party cell that admitted 2 party members. That is the information provided by the Organizing Committee of Thanh Chuong District Party Committee.

Thanh Chuong Party Committee has 82 Party organizations, including 40 commune and town Party Committees; 18 affiliated Party Committees and 24 grassroots Party cells. As a large Party Committee, the number of grassroots Party organizations is large, however, not outside the common situation in many localities, here the work of developing new Party members also poses many difficulties.

And in fact, through review, in Thanh Chuong there are party cells that have not recruited party members for many years; of which 6 party cells in 4 communes are at risk of no longer having party cells because the total number of party members is less than 5, of which 3 are over 60 years old and have not developed party members for over 5 years.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Anh - Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Board said: From practical experience, the work of developing party members is required by Thanh Chuong District Party Committee, an important task of Party committees and organizations from the district to the grassroots level.

Many Resolutions, projects, and documents related to development work were issued by the District Party Committee; associated with focusing on seriously implementing Project No. 5155 of the Provincial Party Committee on Developing Party Members and Party Organizations in Private Enterprises and Foreign-Invested Enterprises in the Province and Project No. 01/DA-TU/2016 of the Provincial Party Committee on building Party cells and developing Party members in blocks, hamlets, and villages without Party cells, without Party members, and blocks, hamlets, and villages at risk of no longer having Party cells, period 2016 - 2020.

Accordingly, many solutions have been focused on by the District Party Committee in leadership and direction; in which special attention is paid to solutions to overcome the lack of resources in rural Party cells through expanding the target group, not only focusing on union members and youth as before but also directing mass organizations such as Women, Farmers, Veterans... to review, detect, foster, and introduce resources to the Party.

The District Party Committee established a grassroots steering group, which included directing the development of party members in each assigned area. The Standing Committee members, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, and the District Party Executive Committee assigned to be in charge of the area and points, participated in the quarterly and monthly rural party cell meetings and actively directed and urged the party cells.

In each Party Committee, based on the Party member development targets assigned by the District Party Committee's Organizing Committee, solutions are proposed and specific Party development targets are assigned to each grassroots Party cell.

Thanks to specific solutions and strong direction from the District Party Committee to each grassroots Party Committee and each small Party cell, the work of developing Party members in Thanh Chuong has recently had positive changes. In the first 7 months of 2017 alone, the whole district has admitted 252 new Party members.

Notably, in 6 party cells at risk of no longer having party cells in 4 communes, all developed new party members after many years of not being able to recruit party members, including one party cell that recruited 2 party members.

The above results are creating confidence for the Party Committees and grassroots Party cells in Thanh Chuong in the work of developing Party members, contributing to increasing the intelligence and youth of the Party, and contributing to bringing the Party's Resolutions into life quickly and sustainably.
