Establishment of Council for appraisal of press network development planning
The Appraisal Council is responsible for organizing the appraisal of the Development Plan for the network of press, radio, television, electronic information, and publishing establishments for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed Decision No. 276/QD-TTg to establish the Council for Appraisal of the Planning for the Development of the Network of Press, Radio, Television, Electronic Information, and Publishing Establishments for the 2021-2030 Period, with a Vision to 2050.

According to the Decision, the Chairman of the Council is Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister.Ministry of Information and Communications, authorized by the Prime Minister. The Vice Chairman of the Council is Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications.
The Council members include representatives of the leaders of the following ministries and agencies: Ministry of Public Security; Ministry of National Defense; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Planning and Investment; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Central Propaganda Department; Nhan Dan Newspaper; Vietnam Television; Voice of Vietnam; Vietnam News Agency; Vietnam Journalists Association; Vietnam Publishing Association; Academy of Journalism and Propaganda.
Reviewers are experts in the fields of journalism, radio, television, electronic information, foreign information, grassroots information, publishing, printing and distribution.
Independent review consultants: Mr. Tran Binh Minh, former General Director of Vietnam Television; Mr. Nguyen The Ky, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, former General Director of the Voice of Vietnam; Mr. Vu Dinh Thuong, former Director of the Press and Publishing Department - Central Propaganda Department.
The standing body of the Appraisal Council is the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The Appraisal Council is responsible for organizing the appraisal of the Development Plan for the network of press, radio, television, electronic information, and publishing establishments for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, in accordance with the provisions of law on planning.
The Council operates on a part-time basis; ceases operations and dissolves itself after the Prime Minister approves the Plan for the development of the network of press, radio, television, electronic information and publishing establishments for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050./.
