Young people join hands to harvest rice to help families in difficult circumstances

The family of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ly in Ngoc Xuan 2 hamlet, Thanh Ngoc commune is one of the most disadvantaged households in the commune. Mr. Ly himself (born in 1977) has a brain disease, often has seizures, and has completely lost the ability to work.

To carry out the plan to help families in difficult circumstances, Thanh Ngoc Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Commune Red Cross to help Mr. Ly's family harvest rice in time for the season.

Participating in the charity work were 32 members of the Youth Union, youth of the Youth Union branches, and members of the Red Cross Society of the commune. Because some areas of Mr. Ly's family's rice fields were damaged by the tornado, everyone had to use sickles to harvest by hand, the rest was harvested by personal harvesters. In order to harvest the most finished rice, the Secretary of the Youth Union of Ngoc Xuan 2 hamlet brought a combine harvester to support.
