(Baonghean.vn) - On January 23-24, Hung Nguyen District Youth Union organized the cooking of 500 pairs of banh chung tra to give to poor households in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, and at the same time wished a happy new year to officers and soldiers of Border Guard Station 547 stationed in Ky Son district.

The first day's work was to prepare dong leaves, a pot to cook the cake, split bamboo strips, peel onions, and a "gathering" location. Initially, the event was planned to be held at the yard of the District Social Policy Bank, but due to the cold and rainy weather, it was moved to the back warehouse of the District People's Committee.
