Young man broke into safe to steal money, went to Vinh city to buy 2 IPhone X phones
(Baonghean.vn) - After stealing nearly 50 million VND, Chu Van Phuc (living in Anh Son) took a bus to Vinh City to buy 2 IPhone X phones, clothes, then took a bus back home.
Anh Son District Police said they are detaining Chu Van Phuc (born 2000, residing in village 6, Hung Son commune, Anh Son) for theft of property.
At 3:30 p.m. on December 17, Anh Son District Police received a report from Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy (born in 1964, residing in Village 5, Hung Son Commune, Anh Son) reporting that on December 17, 2019, while her family was away, a thief broke the glass door of her house, broke into the house, opened the safe, rummaged through belongings and stole 49 million VND.

Anh Son District Police quickly arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, collected evidence, and took statements from the victim; and checked for suspicious individuals in the area.
At 7:00 a.m. on December 18, the police arrested Chu Van Phuc (born 2000, residing in village 6, Hung Son commune, Anh Son). At the police station, Phuc confessed to stealing Ms. Quy's money, then took a bus to Vinh city to buy 2 IPhone X phones, clothes, personal expenses, and then took a bus home.
Previously, at around 5:00 a.m. on December 18, while conducting an ambush in village 3, Linh Son commune, the Anh Son district police task force discovered a suspect driving a motorbike.
The task force chased and conducted an administrative inspection and discovered that the subject was carrying a sack containing about 20 chickens. The subject confessed that his name was Cao Xuan An (born in 1969, residing in village 4, Linh Son commune) and admitted that the chickens had just been stolen in Khai Son and Vinh Son communes.
An also confessed that he had previously stolen poultry many times in the communes on the left bank of the Lam River and some communes in Tan Ky district.
