These days, on major roads in Vinh City such as Le Nin Avenue, Truong Thi, Le Hong Phong, An Duong Vuong, Phong Dinh Cang, etc., machinery, materials, and workers are busy speeding up construction progress. These are roads included in Vinh City's renovation and upgrading plan in 2024.

Only about 1 month left until Lunar New Year, which is also the main business season of the year, therefore, people living and doing business on these routes are still waiting for the completion of the projects to facilitate trading.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - owner of a restaurant on Le Nin Avenue said: Upgrading the roads to become more beautiful and modern is what people always want. However, the construction and digging of the roads with many vehicles and machinery gathered also affects the family's business to some extent.

“The end of the year is the peak season for festivals, family gatherings, etc. Every year, my family welcomes a lot of guests, but this year, the number has decreased by more than half. One of the reasons is that the road construction has made the shops dusty, and people coming here have no place to park their vehicles because the sidewalk has just been dug up and is also a place to gather raw materials. Therefore, we hope the city will speed up the progress to complete the road as soon as possible for people to do business,” said Mr. Hung.
