Vinh City plans to spend more than VND3,000 billion on public investment in 2025
At the 13th Session taking place in mid-July 2024, the People's Council of Vinh City, term XXII, 2021 - 2026, passed a resolution giving opinions on the proposed Public Investment Plan for 2025 from Vinh City's budget with a total of more than 3,000 billion VND.

Accordingly, the total public investment capital from the city budget in 2025 is expected to be 3,004 billion VND. Of which, it is expected to allocate more than 1,961 billion VND to repay debts of completed and unfinished projects; more than 742 billion VND for 82 projects and works expected to start new construction and prepare for investment; more than 300 billion VND for reserves, planning, land use plans, debt settlement of wards and communes, and entrusted lending through the social policy bank system (10%).

Of the total 82 projects in the 2025 public investment plan, 36 projects that were prepared for investment in 2024 were transferred. These included 8 infrastructure projects for land subdivision planning areas in the following communes and wards: Vinh Tan, Ben Thuy, Trung Do, Dong Vinh, Hung Dung, Nghi Duc, Nghi Kim; 8 projects to upgrade roads and drainage systems.
Some projects to renovate the Le Mao street, 72m road; lighting system, decoration, landscape of walking street; prevent landslides on Quyet mountain; increase the capacity of Vinh city's centralized wastewater treatment plant and pumping station No. 1 in Hung Hoa commune...

There are 46/82 works and projects expected to be prepared for investment in 2025, including 3 school works such as: building the second facility of Huynh Thuc Khang High School; renovating and upgrading the technical infrastructure of Hong Son Secondary School into Hong Son Primary School; renovating and upgrading the technical infrastructure of Hong Son Primary School into Hong Son Kindergarten; expanding the campus, building new classrooms and kitchens of Nghi Phu Kindergarten.
Constructing 13 cultural houses for blocks and hamlets; 13 infrastructure projects for residential land subdivision planning areas. There are 17 construction projects, renovations, and upgrades of roads, sidewalks; lighting; construction and renovation of drainage ditches; renovation and elevation of stadiums, sports fields, etc.
