Vinh City and Quy Chau District won First Prize in the Cultural Heritage Learning Contest
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the judges, this year's competition was carefully prepared by the teams from content to presentation, vivid, attractive and highly effective in propaganda.
On the evening of November 24, at Nghe An Museum, the Department of Culture and Sports held a closing ceremony, awarded prizes for the Nghe An Cultural Heritage Discovery Contest; announced the Nghe An Museum tourist destination and opened the thematic exhibition: "Sounds of the mountains and forests".
Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of the Departments of Culture and Sports, Education and Training.
On November 23 and 24, the 2022 Nghe An Provincial Cultural Heritage Competition with the theme "I love my homeland's heritage" took place in an exciting, enthusiastic and practical manner to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2022) and the 17th Anniversary of Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2022).
21 teams of junior high school students from 21 districts, cities and towns went through 3 competitions: Creating a clip introducing local cultural heritage; General knowledge competition and Presentation competition.

According to the judges, this year's competition was carefully prepared by the schools from the content to the vivid and attractive presentation, bringing high propaganda effectiveness, thereby having a profound educational effect for students to understand the value of cultural heritage for the spiritual life of the people. This is a healthy and useful playground, promoting the talents, solidarity and unity of the students in the competition team.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the entire team, clip contest, presentation contest and general knowledge contest.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture and Sports announced the tourist destination of Nghe An Museum.
Established under Decision No. 1103.TCUB/QD dated October 17, 1979 of the People's Committee of Nghe Tinh province, the museum is a place to recreate the entire historical process of Nghe An province from primitive times to the present day through more than 31,000 documents and artifacts, including many collections of precious antiques such as: collection of bronze drums, weapons, jewelry of Dong Son culture; collection of ancient embroidery paintings...
In particular, this is the only place in Nghe An province that is preserving and keeping 3 national treasures.
Over 40 years of construction and development, Nghe An Museum has welcomed and served millions of visitors, and welcomed hundreds of domestic and foreign scientists to conduct research.

With outstanding activities, Nghe An Museum has been recognized by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee as a tourist destination in Decision No. 709/QD.UBND dated March 20, 2021.

On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2022), Nghe An Museum organized the opening of the thematic exhibition "Sounds of the mountains and forests" with more than 150 images, documents, artifacts and documentary films to introduce to the public the folk songs, dances and music of ethnic minorities in Nghe An.
The theme is also an opportunity to experience and honor the value of traditional folk performing arts of the 5 ethnic minority communities, and through the exhibition, contribute to calling on all classes of people to raise awareness in preserving, maintaining and developing the nation's precious cultural heritage in today's era.
