Removing obstacles from the grassroots in implementing Propaganda work

On the afternoon of June 19, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a training conference on Propaganda work in 2019. Attending the conference were Dr. Nguyen Dac Hung - Director of the Department of Education and Training, Vocational Training, Central Propaganda Department. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Also attending were the heads, deputy heads and experts of the Propaganda Departments of district, city and town Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees, the Fatherland Front and provincial-level organizations, representatives of departments, branches and sectors, and Deputy Directors of the Political Training Centers of districts, cities and towns.

In her opening speech, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong affirmed that the training conference aims to foster and update knowledge for leaders and managers at all levels, organized in batches during the year according to the annual guidance program of the Central Propaganda Department as well as through understanding the situation and needs from the grassroots.

He emphasized that the 5 topics in the 3 days of the Conference are a collection and distillation of new knowledge, experience and information to convey and update to the delegates attending the Conference, and at the same time suggested that the delegates proactively discuss the current difficulties and confusion arising from the grassroots, so that the guidance of the lecturers is not only one-way but also helps to remove obstacles for the grassroots.

In the afternoon of the same day, the training conference listened to the topic Overview of Party science and education work and issues raised in science and education work presented by Dr. Nguyen Dac Hung - Head of the Department of Education and Training, Vocational Training, Central Propaganda Department.

On June 20 and 21, the training conference will listen to the following topics: Improving the capacity of information, propaganda and foreign affairs work in the new situation, presented by comrade Le Van Nghiem, former Director of the Department of Foreign Information, Ministry of Information and Communications; The work of grasping and orienting public opinion at the district and grassroots levels, presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hao Quang - Department of Sociology, Academy of Journalism and Communication; The work of collecting, researching, compiling, editing and organizing management and publishing the History of local Party Committees, presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Danh Tien - Deputy Director of the Institute of Party History, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; The art and skills of oral propaganda and thoroughly grasping the Party's resolutions, presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Lam Quoc Tuan, Deputy Director of the Institute of Party Building, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

As planned, the training conference will close on the afternoon of June 21.
