Teachers in the mountainous region of Nghe An personally prepare heartwarming meals for students
Sharing with students, in recent days, teachers in the highlands of Nghe An have taken care of and provided clean, nutritious meals to encourage them to confidently take the high school graduation exam.

From early morning, teacher Nguyen Thi Chiem - Literature teacher at Que Phong High School got out of bed. After finishing breakfast for her 12th grade son who was preparing for the High School Graduation Exam, she hurried to Ms. Lan's house - the school's kitchen staff to volunteer to cook rice.
The work was hectic, lasting from 5am to 9am. Although it was busy, no one felt tired. By the time the candidates finished the first exam, the meals were ready.

The menu included braised chicken, braised pork, stir-fried bamboo shoots and spinach soup, which made all the contestants excited and hungry. After the meal, each child was given a box of milk to supplement their nutrition.
Seeing the students eating deliciously, some even said "better than eating at home", teacher Nguyen Thi Chiem could not hide her joy, sharing: I have been with my students for 3 years, witnessing their many hardships and disadvantages. Therefore, today, being able to prepare meals for them with the teachers, I feel very happy and joyful. I hope the students will do their best to get good results.

This year, Que Phong High School has 589 candidates taking the exam. More than half of them are students from far away, living in dormitories or boarding houses near the school.
Over the past month, although the school year has ended, students have stayed at school to review for exams. As the exam date approaches, the number of candidates whose parents come to encourage and support them can be counted on one hand. For them, exam day is just like any other normal day, they have to be completely independent.

Recognizing that this is an important exam, to prevent some candidates from oversleeping and not being able to get to the exam site in time and other incidents, this year, Que Phong High School coordinated with the Youth Union to establish a “quick response” team to support the exam season. In case of unexpected situations, teachers and volunteers will be ready to support candidates.
During the time students were studying for exams, many teachers in the school also supported free accommodation for them.

In addition to students' travel, eating and sleeping, one of the teachers' concerns is students' meals during exam days. Normally, some students register for meals from the kitchen, while others cook for themselves.
However, the exam schedule is continuous during the day, and cooking conditions are not guaranteed, so preparing meals for yourself will be very difficult. That is the reason why, for many years, despite many difficulties, Que Phong High School has proactively cooked free meals for students.
This year alone, in addition to 200 meals supported by the Industry Union, more than 300 other meals were donated by organizations, individuals and businesses.

After enjoying a delicious meal, contestant Va Thi Thanh - class 12A11 - Mong ethnic group said: I thank the teachers for taking care of us during the exam days. My family is also very assured because even though we are far away, we are still taken care of and instructed by the teachers every day.
Growing up in Huoi Moi village, Tri Le commune, Thanh Thi was one of the few students in the village who went to Kim Son town to attend high school. After 3 years of studying at Que Phong High School, while many other students were thinking about going to work, Thanh always nurtured the dream of becoming a primary school teacher. Without the conditions to take the competency assessment exam, Thanh entrusted all her dreams to the High School Graduation Exam and she told herself that she had to try hard to not let down her teachers and family.

Tomorrow (June 28), teachers at the exam site of Que Phong High School will wake up early to cook rice for their students. The high school graduation exam is really difficult, but this is probably also an exam with many memories, filled with love between teachers and students...
