At the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, with the characteristic of 100% of students staying at the school, they live far from their families, without parental support, so the closer the exam date is, the more the school cares and worries about them. In addition to focusing on reviewing, the school focuses on eating, living, and paying attention to each daily meal.

Two weeks before the exam, the school principal ordered dozens of clean watermelons from Nhung village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district to help students cool off and concentrate on studying for the exam.

Teacher Nguyen Kieu Hoa - Principal of the school shared: All students in our school aim to pass the university of their first choice. Therefore, the pressure on them in this exam is very high. I hope that even the smallest attention and care will help them have more confidence to successfully reach the final stage.

At Nam Dan 2 High School, this year the school has 392 12th graders, of which 4 students are exempted from the exam because they are in the integration category. The rest, after the end of the school year, most of them choose to review for the exam at school. In addition to teaching according to the schedule, at the end of each class, teachers volunteer to stay to teach and tutor students with average and weak academic performance.

After more than a month of intensive review, teacher Nguyen Thi Minh Chau - a Chemistry teacher said: We are simultaneously supplementing knowledge and practicing questions for students. In addition to giving questions in class, teachers also give additional questions for students to review at home.

Through this, we help students to manage their time, trying to spend only 15 minutes to complete the theoretical questions. The rest, focus on doing exercises because the Chemistry exam has quite a lot of questions. In the last sessions, we will review all knowledge, remind students of the questions they often make mistakes such as the summary questions of the theoretical part or 4 practice questions at the application level, high application level.

To avoid losing points, we require students with average ability to complete the questions at the recognition and comprehension levels. This number accounts for the majority of students. For students with 8 points or higher, we will divide them into small groups and send them separate lessons for review.

This is a difficult exam for all students. This is the last exam season following the old textbook program. From the 2025 school year, students will take the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program, so there will definitely be many changes and the amount of knowledge will also be different.

To achieve the goal of 100% of students passing the graduation exam, many of whom pass the university entrance exam, we have started organizing review sessions for students from April 15, 2024 to May 25, 2024, with a duration of 140 periods with content closely following the reduced curriculum according to the Ministry's guidance document and sample questions. From June 3, 2024 to June 22, 2024, we will continue to organize review sessions to consolidate and practice, with a duration of 50 periods with content according to the Ministry's sample questions and the Department's mock test questions. Through this, we hope that by the time of the real exam, students will be familiar with the questions, calm, and confident when taking the test.

In recent days, information about businesses and sponsors supporting candidates participating in the Graduation Exam has been regularly updated by Que Phong High School. Some businesses support water, some support meals, some are more careful to give candidates paper bags and erasers. Although the gifts are small, they are extremely necessary for candidates before entering the exam room. Many students of the school live far from their families and parents, so they have never received such thoughtful care.

Teacher Ngo Chien Thang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Que Phong High School said: In the past time, our program "Supporting the exam season" has received support from many departments, agencies and businesses in the area. It is expected that during the exam days, we will cook nearly 600 free meals to support candidates and parents who come from far away. We want to tell the students that, despite the difficult circumstances, teachers and social organizations are still there to accompany and support them so that they can confidently take the exam.

Never before has the High School Graduation Exam received as much attention as it does now. For students of Yen Thanh 3 High School, the exam preparation season seems to have become less stressful as they receive cups of sugarcane juice and cups of yogurt donated and supported by their teachers and former students.

At Nguyen Duy Trinh High School, hundreds of glasses of fresh milk were also given to students in the last lessons. Although the gifts were small, they contained the hearts of teachers and the entire industry sent to students, hoping that they would overcome difficulties to reach the finish line successfully.

Before the exam day, according to the announcement of many schools, the schools have prepared enough water and distributed it for free to candidates and their parents who come to take the exam. Some schools have also prepared milk and bread for candidates who come from far away. Particularly, schools in mountainous districts are expected to have thousands of free meals to support candidates from the highlands coming to take the exam.

With the special nature of this year's exam, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh requested that schools and teachers pay attention and remind students to create a comfortable mindset, so that they do not violate regulations and avoid unfortunate incidents.

At the same time, we must create the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam, especially in difficult and remote areas, and absolutely not let any candidate be unable to reach the exam location due to difficulties./.
