Teacher Van Nhu Cuong and doctor Nguyen Anh Tri on the Literature exam
The farewell ceremony for Associate Professor Van Nhu Cuong and the farewell ceremony for Doctor Nguyen Anh Tri were included in the mid-term Literature exam in Ho Chi Minh City.

The test gave two images: The emotional farewell of students from Hoa Lu A High School (Ninh Binh), when principal Nguyen Trong Khanh transferred jobs, and the tears of students from Luong The Vinh School (Hanoi) in the moment of sending off teacher Van Nhu Cuong to his final resting place.
Question 1 requires students: "From the two images above, what do you think? Present in an essay of about 300 words."

Being able to treat patients is my greatest happiness. I always try to convey these things to the staff in the hospital."
In question one of the writing section, the question requires students to write about 15 sentences thinking about medical ethics through the story and image of Dr. Tri.

Many students were interested in these two tests, because the story of Associate Professor Van Nhu Cuong and Doctor Nguyen Anh Tri has been shared by many people on social networks recently. "The Literature test is really new and creative with positive characters, not dry like before," a female student commented.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong (Vice Principal of Nguyen Du High School) said that this way of creating questions is the school's policy, to encourage teachers to innovate in compiling exam questions. Not only Literature but also many other subjects, humanistic stories and current events will be creatively integrated into the questions, helping students to be creative, express their opinions and arguments.
"The stories in the two Literature topics above are very humane and positive, so when included in the exam, they not only test students' knowledge but also help them learn a lesson in life," Ms. Huong shared.
Earlier this month, Professor Nguyen Anh Tri (former Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion) had a touching farewell to his staff, employees and patients upon his retirement. Many people burst into tears when they could no longer work regularly with Professor Tri.
On October 9, Associate Professor Van Nhu Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Luong The Vinh School, passed away at the age of 80, leaving behind regrets for his students and those who did not study with him but admired his talent.
