14 more Covid-19 cases, including 13 in Da Nang, Vietnam has 880 patients
The 6 p.m. news on August 12 of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control reported that 14 new cases of Covid-19 had been recorded, including 1 case in Hanoi (with an address in Hai Duong), and 13 cases in Da Nang. To date, Vietnam has had 880 cases.
CASE 867 (BN867): Male, 63 years old; in Binh Giang, Hai Duong. On July 31, 2020, the patient had a cough and fatigue. On August 8, 2020, the patient went to the 108 Military Central Hospital for a check-up, then returned to his daughter's house in Thanh Tri, Hanoi.
On August 9, 2020, he was examined and admitted to Thanh Nhan Hospital with a diagnosis of severe pneumonia. On August 10, 2020, samples were sent to the Hanoi Center for Disease Control. The first result was negative.
On August 11, 2020, the second sample was taken. The test results from Thanh Nhan Hospital and the Hanoi Center for Disease Control were both positive for SARS-CoV-2.
CASE 868 (BN868): Female, 58 years old; in Thanh Khe, Da Nang. Patient treated at Da Nang Hospital from July 19-25, 2020.
CASE 869 (BN869): Female, 83 years old; in Hoa Vang, Da Nang. Patient treated at Da Nang Hospital during July 4-8, 2020 and July 11-19, 2020.
CASE 870 (BN870): Female, 35 years old; in Dien Ban, Quang Nam. The patient is the child and had contact with BN478.
CASE 871 (BN871): Female, 59 years old; in Cam Le, Da Nang. The patient is the wife of BN825.
CASE 872 (BN872) Male, 56 years old; in Hoa Vang, Da Nang. The patient had contact with BN823 and his mother, BN873.

CASE 874 (BN874): Female, 56 years old; in Hai Chau, Da Nang. Wife of patient BN666.
CASE 875 (BN875): Female, 26 years old; Lien Chieu, Da Nang. She is an intern at Da Nang Hospital and from July 15-24, 2020, had contact with 2 medical staff, BN435 and BN574.
Cases 868-875 (BN868-875) were sampled on August 11, 2020, and the test results were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
CASE 876 (BN876): Male, 51 years old; in Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam.
CASE 877 (BN877): Male, 41 years old; in Thanh Khe, Da Nang.
CASE 878 (BN878): Male, 30 years old; in Hai Chau, Da Nang.
CASE 879 (BN879): Male, 33 years old; in Hai Chau, Da Nang.
CASE 880 (BN880): Male, 46 years old; in Thanh Khe, Da Nang.
Cases 877-880 (BN877-880) recorded in Da Nang are being investigated and epidemiological information is being supplemented.

As of 6:00 p.m. on August 12: Vietnam has a total of 880 Covid-19 cases, of which 321 imported cases were quarantined immediately.
Number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to present: 419 cases recorded.
