5 more Covid-19 cases, 1 person from Truong Sinh Company, Vietnam has 212 cases
According to the report of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, as of 6:00 a.m. this morning, 5 new cases were recorded, bringing the total number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam to 212. Of which, 1 case is an employee of Truong Sinh Company, 1 case was infected in the community and 3 cases were quarantined immediately after entering the country.
CASE 208 (BN 208):Female patient, 38 years old, employee of Truong Sinh Company, Bach Mai Hospital.
CASE 209 (BN209):The female patient, 55 years old, Vietnamese nationality, with an address in Duc Giang, Long Bien, Hanoi, is currently cooking at the Petroleum Company Region I.
From March 18 to March 24, the patient had close contact with the SARS-CoV-2 positive case, Patient 163, at the kitchen of the Petroleum Company Region I.
People in close contact with patient 209 include: husband, two sons, biological mother and maid.
After determining this was a high-risk close contact case, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control transferred the patient to quarantine and monitoring at Duc Giang General Hospital.
On March 29, the sample was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.
Currently, the patient is undergoing necessary procedures to be transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, for treatment, and is in stable health condition.
CASE 210 (BN210):The patient is a 26-year-old female residing in Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province. She returned from Thailand on March 20 and had close contact with the SARS-CoV-2 positive patient, Patient 201.
After entering the country, the patient was taken to the province's quarantine area by the Ha Tinh Provincial Center for Disease Control and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
On March 29, the specimen was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. The patient is currently being quarantined at Cau Treo General Hospital, Ha Tinh province, and is in stable health condition.
CASE 211 (BN211):The patient is a 23-year-old female Vietnamese national studying in the US, residing at Chua Lang Street, Lang Thuong Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi. On March 19, the patient returned to Vietnam from the US via Abu Dhabi and Bangkok, arriving in Hanoi on March 20.
After entering the country, the patient was transferred to a centralized quarantine area at Brigade 24, Quynh Luu Commune, Nho Quan District, Ninh Binh Province. On March 24, the screening test by the Ninh Binh Center for Disease Control showed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.
On March 25, the specimen was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. The patient is currently being isolated and treated at Ninh Binh General Hospital, and is in stable health condition.
CASE 212 (BN212):Female patient, 35 years old, Vietnamese nationality, self-employed, residing in Hoa Tien, Hung Ha, Thai Binh.
The patient and her husband returned to Vietnam from Russia on March 27 on flight number SU290 (seat 42C). After entering the country, the patient and her husband were transferred to the quarantine area at Vinh Phuc School of Culture and Arts.
On March 29, the patient showed signs of fatigue and mild fever and was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh for isolation and monitoring. The sample was sent to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, and is in stable health condition.
