Information from Dien Chau District Medical Center said that they had just received information in Dien Bich commune that there was a case of a citizen from the locality going to Laos to work and work, and after testing, the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Accordingly, this person entered Laos on May 20, from Tay Trang border gate, Dien Bien province; on May 21, he was quarantined; on May 22, he was tested; and on May 23, the test result was positive.

Nghe An Province Center for Disease Control said that there is no official information about the case in Dien Bich commune. Laos has not received any information about this positive case, but it was the individual who called Dien Bien province.
