2018 Department-level Leadership Recruitment Exam of the Ministry of Home Affairs

According to announcement No. 684/TB-BNV dated February 22, 2018, the Ministry of Home Affairs will organize a recruitment exam for 4 leadership and management positions including: 1 Deputy Chief of Office in charge of staff and synthesis work; 1 Deputy Chief Inspector in charge of the work of the Synthesis Department; 1 Deputy Director of the Department of Local Government in charge of the policy and regime fields at the commune, village and residential group levels; 1 Deputy Director of the Institute of State Organizational Sciences in charge of scientific management and basic investigation projects.

Time and place for receiving application documents: February 26 - March 23 (based on postmark for documents sent by post). After the deadline for receiving documents, the Ministry will evaluate the documents from March 24 - April 3.

The list of qualified candidates will be announced from April 4-8. On April 19, the written exam will be held, followed by the project presentation exam on May 11 and 12.

At the end of 2017, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a plan to recruit 8 leadership and management positions at the department level and equivalent with 2 rounds of exams in 2017 and 2018.

In the first round of the 2017 exam, with two positions: Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Deputy Director of the Department of Training and Development of Officials and Civil Servants, the Ministry selected two people with the highest scores, Ms. Pham Thu Hang, senior expert of the Department of International Cooperation and Mr. Tran Trung Kien, senior expert of the Department of Training and Development of Officials and Civil Servants, to be appointed immediately after passing the exam.

After the Central Organizing Committee, the Ministry of Home Affairs is the second unit to organize exams for leadership and management positions./.
