Cua Lo town sets up 4 entry and exit control posts when implementing Directive 16
(Baonghean.vn) - Cua Lo town has just decided to set up checkpoints to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the area when applying social distancing according to Directive 16.
Accordingly,4 checkpointsin Cua Lo town including:
- Checkpoint 1: Intersection of Hang Dua Street - 72m Road.
- Checkpoint 2: Alley 7, Hoang Van Cu Street, Block 2 Nghi Hoa.
- Checkpoint 3: Intersection of Pham Nguyen Du Street - Cua Hoi Street.
- Checkpoint 4: Fork of Lam River coastal road - Cua Hoi road.
On duty time at the checkpoint: 24/24 hours.

Tasks of the checkpoints: Control people and vehicles entering/exiting Cua Lo town and handle them in accordance with current regulations of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Health, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, and Cua Lo Town People's Committee on Covid-19 prevention and control.
Cua Lo town assigns specific tasks to the forces:
1.Cua Lo Town Police:
- As the checkpoint leader, responsible for the general management of all activities of the checkpoint; assigning officers in the checkpoint to perform assigned tasks in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure security and order, guide and direct traffic, and avoid traffic jams during inspection at the checkpoint.
- Control the use of means for checkpoint forces to conduct inspections of disease prevention and control measures in accordance with regulations.
-Serious handlingviolations of laws on traffic safety and order and violations of regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
- Timely advise the Town Steering Committee to handle arising situations in accordance with the Covid-19 epidemic situation.
2.The Town Health Center advises on arranging ambulances to transport suspected Covid-19 cases to medical quarantine areas and treatment facilities in accordance with regulations (if any), ensuring necessary conditions and equipment for Covid-19 epidemic control and prevention at checkpoints (medical declarations, disinfectant solutions, body temperature measuring machines, disinfectant sprayers).
3.The Town Military Command, Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station, and Cua Lo Town Youth Union mobilize and arrange forces at each checkpoint according to the number stated in the plan attached to the Decision to participate in performing tasks assigned by the Team Leader (instructing on health declaration, supporting body temperature measurement, deploying application software, supporting as interpreters for foreigners...).
4.Cua Lo Electricity arranged power source at the checkpoint to serve the daily life of the team members.
5.Chairman of the People's Committee of wards: For wards bordering other districts, based on the actual situation in the locality, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward decides to establish additional checkpoints to control people and vehicles entering and exiting the town through his ward.
In the face of the complicated developments of the Covid epidemic, this morning (August 19), the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control inspection team of Cua Lo Town, led by Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Secretary of the Town Party Committee, inspected and worked in Nghi Hai and Nghi Hoa wards.
After inspecting checkpoints in Nghi Hai ward, the Town's working delegation worked with key leaders of Nghi Hai ward.
After listening to the report on the epidemic prevention work of Nghi Hai, Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Thi Hong Toan requested Nghi Hai to urgently and quickly deploy urgent measures to prevent and stop the spread of the epidemic. In particular, it is necessary to pay more attention to promoting propaganda work; Strictly control economic-social-defense-security activities in the ward according to Directive 16; Be ready to respond to the worst possible situations.
In Nghi Hoa, comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan and the Town's working delegation inspected and encouraged the anti-epidemic force at the checkpoint of lane 7, Hoang Van Cu street, bordering Nghi Hoa ward and Nghi Xuan commune - Nghi Loc.
