Regarding the content of the "Vietnam 2035 Report", delegates were provided with a lot of useful information about the economic development situation of Vietnam up to now. On that basis, important conclusions were analyzed and drawn about social problems and emerging issues throughout the development process; the long-term correlation between prosperity and governance quality stemming from economic and political institutions.

Accordingly, there are 6 major movements needed to achieve the country's development goals by 2035, such as: Modernizing the economy while enhancing the competitiveness of the private economic sector; Developing innovation capacity, focusing on the private economic sector; Developing environmental sustainability and enhancing the ability to respond to climate change; Ensuring equity and social inclusion for disadvantaged groups along with social development;... Orientation for national development by 2035: Towards prosperity, creativity, equity and democracy. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to build 3 pillars: Economic prosperity must go hand in hand with environmental sustainability; Improving the management capacity of both the State and the State's accountability to the people; Equity and social inclusion.

Regarding the key issues that need to be focused on to develop the economy when our country implements the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement TPP, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Cung emphasized how to create opportunities for domestic enterprises; the issue of seizing opportunities to increase the export capacity in major markets of Vietnamese enterprises, in which the industries with great opportunities are textiles, footwear, frozen seafood. What to do to overcome technical barriers to export goods, consolidate position and support Vietnamese enterprises in TPP integration.

Focus on upgrading from processing to distribution, retail or design, building product brands and quality. That is, changing the technological process, changing the production method to change the position and function of the economy.

Besides pointing out the great and diverse opportunities for the country's economic development, the training session also pointed out the limitations, weaknesses and major challenges when our country joins the TPP, such as: the increasingly obvious lag in development; in which the most prominent is the lag in institutions and business environment.

According to the training program, on the afternoon of July 25, delegates will conduct regular reporting activities. On July 26, delegates will listen to topics on the recent situation in the East Sea and the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on resolving maritime disputes./.
