The move comes after a failed military coup in the middle of last month.
This plan will be implemented jointly by the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Ministry of Information together with the armed forces.
Military radar systems and surveillance equipment will also be installed inside the airport's air traffic control towers.
These devices will be used to detect hostile military activities or unidentified flying objects and provide timely responses.
On June 29, Ataturk International Airport, the largest in Türkiye, was attacked by terrorists, killing 43 people and injuring hundreds.
The self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) organization is accused of being behind this attack.
Ataturk and many other important airports in the country also fell into chaos during the recent coup when rebel tanks tried to capture key positions./.
