Today's weather, February 14: Warm weather in the North, storm Sanba weakens
On the 29th of Tet, the temperature in the North increased by 2-3 degrees, the sky was sunny and warm. At sea, after entering the East Sea, storm Sanba gradually weakened.
This evening, storm Sanba will enter the Southeast of the East Sea, becoming storm number 2. At 7 p.m., the center of the storm will be at about 9.0 degrees North latitude; 117.2 degrees East longitude, about 560 km east of Truong Sa island (part of Truong Sa archipelago). The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 8 (60-75 km/h), gusting to level 11.
The area of strong winds above level 6, gusting above level 8 has a radius of about 100km from the center of the storm. The dangerous area in the next 24 hours (strong winds at level 6 or higher) is from latitude 8.0 to 12.0 degrees North; east of longitude 116.0 degrees East. Natural disaster risk level: level 3.

In the next 24 to 48 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction at about 15km per hour. By 7pm tomorrow night, the storm will be about 320km East-Northeast of Truong Sa Island (in Truong Sa archipelago) and maintain the same wind level, then gradually weaken into a tropical depression.
On land, the weather in the North is warming up as the cold air weakens, with sunny afternoons.
Compared to yesterday, the temperature in Hanoi increased by about 2 degrees, to 22 degrees Celsius, but at night it was still cold, 13-15 degrees; Lang Son city had daytime temperatures of 18 degrees, and night temperatures of 11 degrees; Lao Cai city had the highest temperature of no more than 19 degrees during the day, and night temperatures of 14 degrees; Lai Chau city had a cold temperature of 17 degrees. In the entire North, only Dien Bien and Hoa Binh had a warm temperature of 23 degrees.
Tomorrow, the North will continue to see a rise in temperature, with day and night temperatures increasing by 1-2 degrees Celsius, and on the first day of Tet (January 16), the highest temperature in Hanoi will reach 24 degrees Celsius, with a cold 17 degrees at night; on the second day of Tet, it will be warm at 25 degrees and on the third day of Tet, it will increase to 27 degrees. In Dien Bien province alone, from the second to the fourth day of Tet, it may be sunny at 30-32 degrees.
Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue provinces have cold weather of 21-24 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to 14-17 degrees Celsius at night. Da Nang - Binh Thuan areas have sunny weather during the day, with some rain at night, with the highest temperature ranging from 24-30 degrees Celsius.
The Central Highlands has stable weather, cool during the day at 26-29 degrees Celsius, cold at night at 15-18 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the South is starting to see an increase in temperature, with the highest temperature today reaching 30-33 degrees Celsius.
