Agreed to invest in the construction of Hoang Mai 2 Cement Factory with a capacity of over 1 million tons/year
(Baonghean.vn) - That is the opinion of comrade Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, on the agreement to invest in the construction of the Hoang Mai 2 cement project in Quynh Vinh commune, Hoang Mai town during the actual survey of the planned construction site of the above project.

On the morning of April 3, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the site and worked with Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company on the planned construction site of Hoang Mai 2 Cement Plant Project. Attending were leaders of the Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and a number of related sectors.
According to the plan, the Hoang Mai 2 cement factory project has a phase 1 capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker/day, and exported clinker of 1,000,000 tons/year. The amount of clinker for grinding cement is 920,000 tons, equivalent to 1,150,000 tons of cement/year.

After inspecting the actual situation at 3 locations of Vicem Hoang Mai 2 Cement Factory according to the plans proposed by Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company and the opinions of departments, leaders of Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien agreed on the construction location of Hoang Mai 2 Cement Factory Project in the area outside Hoang Mai 2 Industrial Park in Quynh Vinh commune - Hoang Mai town. Because this location is suitable in terms of infrastructure, raw materials, far from residential areas, convenient in terms of electricity and water systems, and has little environmental impact.

In order for the project to be implemented soon, contributing to increasing the Company's capacity and increasing the proportion of industrial production in the area, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien assigned the Department of Construction and related sectors to actively coordinate with the Investor to promptly evaluate the overall project; factors related to the site, as well as conditions of infrastructure, environment, people's lives... to promptly submit to the Provincial Party Standing Committee in the upcoming meeting.
