At the stops, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong was excited about the bumper crop and good prices; at the same time, he highly appreciated the efforts of the agricultural sector and localities together with farmers, overcoming natural disasters to achieve a comprehensive success in the spring crop.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to actively direct localities to mobilize people to go to the fields to quickly harvest spring rice, and at the same time sow rice seedlings and prepare the land for timely summer-autumn production.
The agricultural sector needs to calculate and balance the amount of irrigation water. If any area does not have enough water, there must be a direction to change the structure of appropriate seasonal crops. In particular, the sector and localities need to continue researching to introduce valuable crops to replace ineffective rice areas, increase income and improve the lives of farmers.
