Attracting investment in agricultural projects reached 15,434 billion VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, the total investment in projects in the agricultural sector in Nghe An has reached over 15,434 billion VND, including many foreign investment projects.

Notable projects include: Repairing and upgrading the Northern irrigation system (JICA) VND 5,700 billion; Coastal resources for sustainable development (WB) VND 290 billion; WB5 project, JICA forestry... In addition, the projects have been approved by the two Ministries of Planning and Investment and Agriculture and Rural Development to prepare for investment, such as the project: Mo River salinity prevention and freshwater retention sluice (Korean ODA capital) which has been signed, Lam River salinity prevention and freshwater retention sluice (JICA capital), upgrading the system of weak irrigation dams and reservoirs (Reservoir Safety capital)... with a total estimated capital of VND 6,000 billion.

In 2015 alone, there were 39 new projects attracted, with a total investment capital of 1,000.4 billion VND. The total volume of implementation for the year is estimated at 1,398.15/plan of 1,000.42 billion VND, reaching 139% of capital, disbursement is estimated at 100%. Notable projects include: Nam Dan culvert, Song Sao reservoir (phase 2), Nghi Yen dike, Bai Ngang dike, Quynh Lap embankment; Pumping station components on Hieu river, auxiliary dam and Chau Binh drainage canal component of Ban Mong lake project, sub-projects WB3, WB5, Luong - Yen - Khai dike; Restoration and upgrading of Bac irrigation system...
