The dossier contains information that after the assassination of the Russian ambassador, "members of the Fethullah Gulen structure, communicating with the perpetrator's mobile phone via a VPN connection, deleted messages and correspondence from his Gmail and Facebook accounts."

The investigation revealed that the IP address used in the data deletion operation was rented through the VPN Express company located in the United States. However, the prosecutor's office's correspondence with the company did not yield positive results, as the company's representative said that the organization's actions did not apply to US and European law.

According to the newspaper, the Ankara prosecutor's office has identified the serial number of the computer used to delete the contents of the account of Mevlut Murtagh Alyntash, the killer of the Russian Ambassador. In order to identify the owner of the computer, Turkish investigators sent a written request to Apple. As a result, it was found that the serial number was created in cyberspace, and in reality, no such computer exists. The prosecutor's office did not receive a positive response from the FBI regarding the copying of the contents of Altyntash's deleted email.

According to Hurriyet newspaper, the first attempt to crack Altyntas's mobile phone was unsuccessful. However, the Prosecutor's Office and experts from the Cybercrime Prevention Department of the Turkish Prosecutor's Office found the killer's email password, and also gained access to Altyntas's phone's iCloud account.

The prosecutor's office asked Apple to provide the phone's password, but the company refused. The prosecutor's office then asked Apple for help, but they demanded a very high fee for the service, with no guarantee of success. As a result, negotiations with the company ended without any results.

Meanwhile, investigators have been closely examining footage from TRT, the television channel that broadcast live from the venue of the exhibition's opening ceremony.
