Prime Minister: By 2045, there will be giant corporations named Vietnam

By 2045, that is 25 years from now, a quarter of a century, long enough for thesebusiness, a giant corporation of Vietnam.

The Prime Minister said that there were 5 issues raised. They were people and technology, including the issue of stronger digital transformation of the country.

Second, we need to pay attention to institutional innovation, which is the midwife for businesses and the country, emphasizing human rights and civil rights.

Third, create development opportunities for all types of businesses, especially freeing up resources for businesses, people, economic sectors such as FDI, cooperatives, individual households, etc., in which the private economy is one of the important sectors. There must be connections and infrastructure development for businesses, especially creating favorable conditions for land.

Fourth is Vietnamese human resources serving development, along with creative startups. Along with that is protecting the living environment, leaving no one behind.

And finally, protect Vietnamese culture, if we lose culture we lose everything.

"We agree that enterprises are the pillars of the national economy. The bigger the pillars, the richer the people, the stronger the country and the greater the self-reliance," said the Prime Minister.

In today's era, if the goal of a business is still defined as maximizing profits, it will be outdated; the goal of a business cannot simply be to seek profits for shareholders but must create value for society, contributing to the common prosperity of the country.

The Prime Minister expressed his special impression with the slogans of enterprises, expressing a mission or value that the enterprise wants to contribute to society, such as "Developing with the country" of Thaco, "For a better life for everyone" of Vingroup, "For a bright life" of Novaland, "Truly natural" of TH True Milk, "Rising Vietnam" of Vinamilk, "Speak your way" of Viettel...

Sending advice to businesses, the Prime Minister stated that businesses should love the Fatherland, be united, not discouraged, be dynamic, decisive, and have faith because without faith, they are denying their own achievements.

According to the Prime Minister, "Dialogue 2045" is of great significance. This will be an annual dialogue forum between leaders of the Party, State,Governmentwith the business community and intellectuals to promote persistent, continuous, consistent and consistent reform efforts to soon realize the Vietnam 2045 aspiration.

Dialogue 2045 represents the crystallization of the patriotic spirit of the people, businesses, and intellectuals in the face of the country's development; a strong determination to innovate, overcome difficulties and challenges to develop the country day by day, bringing people's lives to be increasingly prosperous and happy. Dialogue is an opportunity to not only build solidarity and trust, but also courage, intelligence, patriotism, love of work, and love of creativity.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to focus on a number of tasks. First of all, it is necessary to unify the awareness, ideology and actions of the entire political system in implementing policies and strategies on enterprise development in the spirit of the resolutions of the Politburo, the National Assembly and the Government, especially to soon concretize the spirit of the recent Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Continue to promote reforms in the investment and business environment to facilitate enterprises. Government,Prime Minister, especially the Ministers, committed to ensuring macroeconomic stability and policy transparency; ministries, branches and localities must expand access to resources and opportunities for businesses to participate; perfect mechanisms and policies to attract investment and ensure business operations according to market mechanisms.

Ensure transparent and effective policy implementation; support the development of small and medium enterprises, start-up movements, and innovation; expand market participation and promote fair competition among all types of enterprises; promote autonomy and competitiveness of the private economy; do not turn mechanisms and policies to support private economic development into subsidies, serving "group interests" in any form.

Support the business community to innovate, modernize technology and develophuman resourcesand the issues raised.

Promote the implementation of the national strategy on human resource development, especially universities and vocational schools. The role of intellectuals accompanying entrepreneurs in the integration period and promoting the transformation of national development is extremely important.

The Prime Minister stated that, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, we have completed the "dual goal" in 2020, which has been highly appreciated by the international community and the people.

"Along with the contributions of the business community, we cannot fail to mention the great role of intellectuals, economic analysts, and experts with dedicated social criticism, in a constructive spirit, to awaken, protect, and create values," the Prime Minister emphasized.

The Prime Minister called for joining hands to make Vietnam more successful, where all intellectuals and talents have the opportunity to contribute and serve; where many businesses rise to become global corporations. Vietnam 2045 is a beautiful picture that all of us and future generations have the opportunity to put our strokes on. This is what we all desire.
