Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: Absolutely do not be subjective or lose vigilance against storm Noru
On the morning of September 26, opening the National Online Conference on promoting disbursement of public investment capital and implementing three national target programs, in the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 4 (international name: storm Noru), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh "hotly" directed ministries, branches and localities to focus on storm prevention and control.

The Prime Minister said that storm No. 4, with a strength of level 12-13, gusting to level 14, is moving in the East Sea towards our country. It is forecasted that the storm will make landfall in the central region of our country. This is a strong storm with great destructive power, with a level 3 natural disaster risk.
The Prime Minister said he had called leaders of several provinces and cities in the Central region to assess the situation and direct storm prevention and control. It was known that the weather in these localities was still clear and cloudless. Therefore, people are easily confused about the severity of the storm, while according to experience before a storm makes landfall, clear and cloudless weather is often a major storm.

The Prime Minister requested ministries, branches, especially localities, to absolutely not be subjective, negligent, or lose vigilance; closely monitor the developments of storm No. 4, and strictly implement the Central Government's telegrams and instructions on storm prevention and control.
In the immediate future, localities are calling on fishermen and boats not to go out to sea to catch seafood but to take shelter in safe places; calling on people to reinforce aquaculture rafts and leave them before the storm hits; checking dams and lakes, reinforcing them; warning and evacuating people from areas where landslides may occur...
