Prime Minister issues Decision to establish Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center is a public service unit under the People's Committee of Nghe An Province, performing the function of promoting investment, trade, tourism and supporting business development in Nghe An Province.
On April 13, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 509/QD-TTg, deciding to establish the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Nghe An province on the basis of merging the Center for Enterprise Support and Development under the Department of Planning and Investment, the Center for Trade Promotion under the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Tourism Promotion under the Department of Tourism, and the Center for Investment Promotion and Support of Nghe An province under the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

According to this Decision, the Nghe An Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center is a public service unit under the People's Committee of Nghe An Province, performing the function of promoting investment, trade, tourism and supporting business development in Nghe An Province according to the provisions of law. The Center has legal status, a seal, and its headquarters is located in Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
The Prime Minister assigned the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to specify the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Center; and organize the implementation of the specific transfer in accordance with the provisions of law.
The Center develops a plan and roadmap for conversion into a joint stock company when meeting the criteria and conditions prescribed in Decision No. 22/2015/QD-TTg dated June 22, 2015 of the Prime Minister on converting public service units into joint stock companies and Decision No. 31/2017/QD-TTg dated July 17, 2017 of the Prime Minister on criteria, list of industries and fields implementing the conversion of public service units into joint stock companies.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation; previous regulations contrary to this Decision are annulled.
Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of Government agencies, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, relevant organizations, units and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision.
