Prime Minister posthumously awarded certificate of merit to female volunteer who died
The Prime Minister has just decided to posthumously award a certificate of merit to Ms. Dang Thi Thu Huong, a volunteer who died on October 20, while helping people clean up the flood.
Dang Thi Thu Huong, born in 1994, residing in Quan Hau town, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh, has achievements in charity and humanitarian activities, bravely helping people in flood-affected areas in Quang Tien commune, Ba Don town.

On the afternoon of October 20, Huong was riding a motorbike to buy medicine for people on the inter-commune road to Quang Tien when she fell while avoiding mud and was run over by a truck from behind, killing her.
Immediately after receiving information about the accident, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, sent his condolences and encouragement to the family.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Traffic Safety Committee of Quang Binh province to visit, support, encourage and express condolences to Thu Huong's family; direct the police to investigate, clarify the cause, and strictly handle according to regulations (if any) organizations and individuals who violated traffic safety and order laws causing the accident.
