Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 26, at the 108 Central Military Hospital, the delegation of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union led by Comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union visited Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai - Detective of the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, who was injured while on duty.

The delegation visited and encouraged comrade Nguyen Dinh Tai about his health and wished him a speedy recovery. The delegation also presented him with a cash gift of VND10 million.
Previously, in the early morning of June 28, 2018, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command and Group 1, the Department of Anti-Terrorism and Crime deployed forces to crack down on a transnational drug ring. While ambushing and arresting two drug lords, the subjects fought back fiercely, shooting at the police force and injuring Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai and Major Nguyen Manh Hung.
While seriously injured, comrade Tai still coordinated to help his teammates have the opportunity to control and arrest Vu Ba Xenh and all the evidence of the case, including: 20 heroin cakes, 7kg of synthetic drugs, 12 thousand synthetic drug pills, 1 gun, 15 bullets, 1 bullet shell and 1 mobile phone.
The task force then quickly took the two comrades to the Military Hospital 4 for emergency treatment. Due to the serious wound caused by a bullet to the abdomen that broke a vertebra, causing damage to the spinal cord, on the same day, Comrade Tai was transferred to the 108 Military Central Hospital for further treatment. With his outstanding achievements, Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai was awarded the "Brave Youth" Badge by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
