During the 93-year history of construction and development, the Nghe An Propaganda Department has had many different names. Throughout the revolutionary process, ideological work in general and the activities of the Propaganda Department in particular have made great contributions to the common achievements of the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in the province; always demonstrating their roles and responsibilities; always innovating and creating in accordance with the requirements and tasks of each revolutionary stage, ensuring the goal of political and ideological unity, steadfastness in principles, and enhancing trust in the Party and the people.

In 2023, in the context of the world, the region and the country facing many difficulties, the Nghe An Propaganda Department has been proactive, timely, and innovative in propaganda, study, dissemination, guidance, and direction of the implementation of the Party's guidelines, directives, and resolutions, the State's legal policies; resolutions, programs, projects, and plans of the province on socio-economic development, national defense, and security that have a great impact on the province. The Department has effectively advised and proposed solutions to orient ideological work in the process of attracting investment, enforcing the law, and resolving support services for major projects; researching and grasping "hot" issues and outstanding issues that people are concerned about.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has been proactively deploying, advising, and proposing to the Party Committee to direct the good implementation of tasks in the field of propaganda: political theory work, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, propaganda, foreign information, orienting public opinion, press-publishing, culture-arts, science and education, building and developing the propaganda sector, achieving many important results... clearly demonstrating the pioneering role on the ideological and cultural front of the Party "going first to pave the way, accompanying the implementation, following the summary", creating unity in perception and action throughout the Party, contributing significantly to political and social stability and economic development in the area.

Congratulating the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Department's Traditional Day, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of the department to the province's overall results in recent times.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the staff of the Propaganda Department will continue to promote their functions and tasks of advising the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies as well as the activities of Party committees at all levels in the area.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department continues to strive to fulfill the tasks of the Propaganda sector, especially promoting and innovating communication work so that all guidelines, policies, resolutions, directives, leadership and direction documents of the Party, the government, the entire political system and the people dominate the information front. Thereby, repelling bad, toxic information, information that reflects the reality incorrectly, affecting the political - social situation, security and order in the area.

At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has done a good job of managing and orienting the press and scientific work; paying attention to diversifying forms of political and ideological education to ensure practicality and effectiveness.

Besides, the leaders of the Propaganda sector need to create maximum conditions for each cadre and employee in the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to improve their professional qualifications and skills to best meet the requirements of the new period.
