On the afternoon of November 14, the Department of Culture - Sports coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize a Conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the Nghe Tinh Soviet traditional education plan for high school students.

The policy of introducing traditional Soviet education in Nghe Tinh into schools began to be implemented from the 2006-2007 school year. Every year, nearly 10,000 students from high schools across the province come to visit and study at the Soviet Museum in Nghe Tinh.
Along with that, activities of exchange, learning, traditional talks and mobile exhibitions are always focused on. In particular, the two sectors of culture and education have innovated teaching methods by combining knowledge in textbooks with evidence, meeting historical witnesses, helping students absorb lessons more proactively.
Through this, not only did students gain knowledge about the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, but they were also nurtured with feelings and pride in the revolutionary tradition.

The conference also pointed out the shortcomings and inadequacies in the implementation process. That is, the implementation of documents and materials is not uniform and not very effective. Visiting and studying at museums is not regular, the target students are not expanded; the content and quality of learning are not rich and attractive.
To overcome these limitations, in the coming time, the education of Nghe Tinh Soviet traditions will be further improved. In particular, focusing on building more suitable content for students; innovating the way of displaying artifacts and explaining; linking the education of Nghe Tinh Soviet traditions with activities and forms of teaching organization...

On this occasion, the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 17 groups and 3 individuals for their outstanding achievements in educating the Soviet tradition of Nghe Tinh for high school students in the period 2007-2017.
