Continue to promote cultural values ​​at the grassroots level

On the afternoon of January 20, the Department of Culture and Sports held a conference to review the work in 2021 and deploy tasks for 2022.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference, Mr. Bui Cong Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that 2021 was a year of many fluctuations due to the pandemic, however, the industry overcame difficulties and completed the set goals and targets.

The sector has advised, directed, guided, inspected and urged localities to effectively carry out visual propaganda to welcome political events and major holidays of the province and the country. At the same time, it has promptly conveyed the Party and State's policies and guidelines on preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic in the province. In particular, the Traditional Arts Center has built an online stage, art programs have been staged and continuously broadcast on Nghe An Radio and Television Station, and Livestreamed on Fanpage channels and domestic television channels, with many rich topics.

The sector has also advised on the ranking of 10 provincial-level relics (5 relics have been ranked) and 2 national-level relics. Units in the Cultural Heritage sector have proactively adjusted their operational plans to suit the epidemic situation; transferred the propaganda and promotion of Nghe An cultural heritage from visual to online with various forms such as displaying thematic topics, organizing clubs... to meet the people's need for spiritual cultural enjoyment.

State management of culture, family and sports continues to receive attention and direction. Inspection, examination and handling of violations are proactively and resolutely implemented, creating clear changes in all areas of the industry's activities. The movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" continues to be promoted and improved in quality, associated with the implementation of the program of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Family work is effectively implemented by all levels and sectors. Mass physical training and sports activities are increasingly developed widely, associated with the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". High-performance sports are increasingly asserting their position and receiving more attention and investment than before.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long affirmed: In the context of the epidemic, the sector has advised the Provincial People's Committee on many documents in the field of culture, family, and sports; at the same time, creatively organized many tournaments and cultural events that have had an impact on the people. "However, there are still inherent problems for many years such as the ineffective use of cultural institutions, in some places, cultural houses are only opened a few times a year, and are also left dirty; cultural facilities in many places are not synchronized. The issue of promoting heritage values ​​needs to be considered in order to promote its lasting value.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted: As the year of grassroots culture, we need to manage and direct the promotion of grassroots cultural institutions; cultural activities in localities need to be carried out vividly and effectively. In addition, it is necessary to select a field of cultural work to focus on directing and highlighting; together with localities, make real changes from the grassroots.

"The most important thing is to focus on directing the resolution of traditional problems; problems in the cultural field in any locality, the industry needs to coordinate with that locality to quickly resolve" - ​​Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long requested.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the Emulation Flag to 3 collectives; Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 4 individuals; the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Certificate of Merit for the title of Excellent Labor Collective to 4 collectives and 13 individuals also received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements.
