In the first months of 2023, the Provincial Police closely coordinated with units and localities to "speed up" the completion of 2,820 houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in 6 border districts; thereby, successfully completing the assigned tasks, receiving recognition and commendation from the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Standing Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee of Program 1838.

Promoting the achieved results, the Provincial Police coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security's Professional Departments to continue calling for and mobilizing sponsors to support the construction of 733 houses in phase 2.

On that basis, the Provincial Steering Committee believes and continues to assign the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to build 733 houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties in the second phase. The construction of 733 houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties is a very important political task; contributing to ensuring social security in the province, with the motto "no one is left behind".

At the conference, delegates listened to a summary of Official Dispatch No. 16 of the Provincial Steering Committee; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the relevant districts discussed, agreed and signed the minutes of the contents related to the construction of 733 houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Thanh Chuong. In which, from the source of the Department of Economic Police - Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Police and charitable units including: Ky Son 309 houses, Tuong Duong 230 houses, Que Phong 146 houses; Quy Chau 7 houses and Thanh Chuong 41 houses from the provincial fund.

Concluding the conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leaders of the Provincial Police, Major General Pham The Tung acknowledged and respectfully thanked the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, and People's Committees of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, and Thanh Chuong districts for closely coordinating with the Provincial Police to implement the policy of building 2,820 houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the past time.

The Provincial Police Director emphasized: Thoroughly grasping the spirit of Directive 21 of the Provincial Party Committee, with the spirit of "Where people need police, where people have difficulties, there are police", the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Police identified social security, hunger eradication and poverty reduction as key tasks, a noble gesture, a "shield", contributing to helping people overcome difficulties, while creating a "belt" and building a solid "shield". Thereby, contributing to ensuring good security and order along the border, soon completing the goal of building a "clean" border district in terms of drugs and helping localities with difficult economic and social conditions.

To complete the tasks according to Official Dispatch No. 16 of the Provincial Steering Committee and the agreed contents, Major General Pham The Tung requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to pay special attention to directing and mobilizing resources to coordinate with Party committees, authorities, and the Police of the districts to soon complete the tasks according to the schedule and roadmap. In particular, special attention must be paid to approving the right subjects; ensuring the progress of the foundation construction to soon hand over to the construction unit; mobilizing and creating a movement of cadres and people to unite to build houses for the poor.

At the same time, promote the achieved results; overcome existing problems; in which, it is necessary to choose a suitable location, avoid locations affected by flash floods, landslides; the construction of the foundation must ensure standards... Especially, now, the rainy season is coming, so the transportation of materials and construction of the project will be more difficult. However, the forces need to make efforts to overcome difficulties to implement urgently and drastically, in order to complete the project on schedule as directed.
