(Baonghean.vn) - Tan Ky district said that it has worked with investors and agreed on a number of preferential policies for small traders to do business in the new market in addition to the general compensation plan for site clearance.

Specifically, for the two projects: Tan Ky market construction, ownership and business investment project and Tan Ky district event center, hotel and comprehensive service project; immediately after the site clearance compensation plan is approved by the competent authority, the investor commits to arrange sufficient funds to transfer to the Tan Ky district site clearance compensation council to carry out compensation work according to regulations.

The investor also committed to a number of policies to support small traders doing business at the old town market such as:

- Support 1,500,000 VND for the cost of moving assets and goods from the old market to the new market.

- Exemption from 02 years of collecting business location usage fees for small traders doing business at the old town market when moving to the new market and 10% reduction in business location rental fees for the next 01 year (according to the list provided by Tan Ky town People's Committee).

- Exemption from business location usage fee for 06 months for new businesses when starting business at a new market.

- Priority traders in the old market town who want to contribute capital to use business locations at the new Tan Ky market will receive price support from investors from June 28, 2019, including: Stalls and stalls with a value of less than 200 million VND will receive a discount of 10 million VND; Stalls and stalls with a value of over 200 million VND will receive a discount of 20 million VND.

- Continue to research and create optimal conditions to reduce the purchase and rental prices of kiosks for small traders for each specific object and kiosk.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Vice Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee said that, in terms of law as well as practice and policies of investors, ending business activities at the old market of the town is the legitimate aspiration of the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Ky district in general and also aims to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2015 - 2020 term.

It is known that on January 6, 2020, Tan Ky District People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 15/UBND-KTHT to Tan Ky Town. In which, Tan Ky Town is assigned to have a plan to terminate business activities at the old market of Tan Ky Town right after Tet. It is strictly forbidden to organize sales, trading, and business fairs in any form from January 7, 2020 for the areas: The area of ​​the Rear Monument facing the front line, the area in front of the District People's Committee gate, the roundabout area, the sidewalk from the District People's Committee gate to the roundabout intersection of Ho Chi Minh Road.

Tan Ky town is preparing to build a road from National Highway 48E to the medical station, residential areas of block 3 and block 6, Tan Ky town and will exploit the land fund on both sides of the road for auction, which also shows that the land area in the old market of Tan Ky town will also be recovered.

The project "Investment, construction, business ownership of Tan Ky market" was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Decision No. 1479/QD-UBND dated April 14, 2017, approved the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 in Decision No. 3158/QD dated July 17, 2017, approved the environmental impact assessment report in Decision No. 5395/QD-UBND dated November 8, 2017, Nghe An Department of Construction appraised the construction drawing design in Document No. 06 dated January 9, 2018 to ensure compliance with current Vietnamese construction standards and regulations.
