Searching for young man suspected of jumping off Ben Thuy bridge to commit suicide
(Baonghean.vn) - At 9:18 a.m. on May 7, 2023, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Command Center (Nghe An Provincial Police) received a report that someone suspected of jumping off Ben Thuy 1 bridge to commit suicide.
The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the river to mobilize 1 vehicle transport vehicle, 1 rescue vehicle, 1 motorboat and 8 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to coordinate the search for the victims.

The identity of the person suspected of jumping off the bridge was identified as Mr. Phan Van S. (born in 1995). Mr. S. left his motorbike and personal documents on the bridge on the evening of May 6, 2023.
