According to the Ministry of Health: In our country, Covid-19 has become an endemic disease. Since the beginning of 2025, the whole country has recorded 148 sporadic cases in 27 provinces and cities, with no deaths. Although no concentrated outbreaks have been recorded, Covid-19 has increased slightly in the past 3 weeks, with an average of 20 cases/week. To proactively prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic, the Ministry of Health continues to recommend that people take the following measures:

On May 19, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 708/KCB-NV on strengthening the examination, detection and treatment of Covid-19 cases to hospitals under the Ministry of Health and Departments of Health of provinces and cities.
