Mr. Chanh said that the remaining child who has not been found is Lam. According to observations of the terrain here with dense rocks, many deep water holes, and the surface area of the Ba River is very wide in many places, so the search is facing difficulties.
Currently, I have directed the local forces of the communes along the Ba River to search together, and at the same time notify the people when they go to work in the fields; if they see the body of the student victim, they should immediately report to the authorities.
“Every year, the district strictly directs the propaganda of drowning prevention to each school. However, to be effective, it requires the responsibility of each family and the awareness of each child. In the near future, the district will direct the placement of warning signs along the Ba River in dangerous locations. At the same time, it will direct propaganda to each family to strictly prohibit and not let children go to the Ba River to swim,” said Mr. Chanh.
