At 9:08 p.m. on July 5, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) received a report that someone had jumped off the Dao Dong bridge, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department directed Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 4 to dispatch 01 fire truck, 08 officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene. At about 22:10 on the same day, the forces found the victim's body.
The identity of the man who jumped off the bridge was identified as Mr. NNH (born 1987), from Dien Hanh commune, Dien Chau district.
