Community Covid-19 monitoring team visits people's homes to measure body temperature

Recently, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Quynh Long Commune (Quynh Luu) in coordination with 8 Community Covid-19 Monitoring Teams "went to every alley, knocked on every door" to check the body temperature of all residents. The work was carried out to check health, promptly detect people with unusual symptoms for timely treatment.

Body temperature measurement for all residents is mainly done by members of the Monitoring Team.Covid-19The teams are equipped with thermometers and assigned to each household to check. Thereby, they can collect more epidemiological information and the number of people entering and leaving the residential area during the days of strengthening epidemic prevention and control.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Hanh - Head of the Front Work Committee, Head of the Covid-19 Community Monitoring Team of Thanh Cong village, with a total of 282 households (1,123 people), on the day the Team screened 173 households (702 people), the remaining households and people will be screened the following day. Fortunately, on the first day of implementationmeasure body temperatureand conducted a check and found no one with symptoms of fever, cough, or difficulty breathing. Everyone's health was normal.

Phu Lien village has 183 households (1,490 people), on the first day the number of people screened and checked for body temperature was 1,252. "For a long time, epidemic prevention and hygiene work has been strictly implemented, people have limited leaving their residential areas and contact with people from other areas, so there have been no suspected cases of Covid-19 infection" - Ms. Tran Thi Anh Dao, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Community Covid-19 Monitoring Team said.

According to Mr. Tran Van Nguyen - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Quynh Long Commune, on the first day of the 8th day, the Commune's Covid-19 Community Monitoring Team screened and measured the body temperature of 1,917/2,256 households (with 7,626/10,915 people). As a result, one person was found to havesymptomcough, fever but when checked it was only due to sore throat. The remaining households will continue to be screened and body temperature measurement for people will be maintained regularly.

Quynh Long is located in the coastal area of ​​Quynh Luu district, adjacent to Quynh Thuan and An Hoa communes, two communes that have had positive cases of Covid-19, so the risk of the disease spreading into the area is very high. During the 4th outbreak of Covid-19, Quynh Long commune had 60 citizens performingcentralized quarantineand 237 citizens quarantined at home due to returning from epidemic areas or being related to F0 cases. Up to now, there are only 9 citizens in centralized quarantine and 37 citizens quarantined at home in the area.
