Evening of May 21: 58 more Covid-19 cases, Bac Giang continues to be a hot spot
The Ministry of Health on the evening of May 21 recorded 58 positive cases of nCoV, of which 57 were domestic cases and 1 imported case was immediately quarantined.
58 new cases were recorded from number 4884-4941. Of which, 57 were domestic cases including Bac Giang 39, Bac Ninh 13, Da Nang 2, Lang Son 1, K Hospital Tan TruArticle 2.
Thus, today the Ministry of Health recorded 131 more Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the epidemic to 4,941, the number of recoveries to 2,689, and the number of deaths to 41.
The total number of community infections from April 27 to now is 1,893, recorded in30 provinces and cities. The number of new infections tonight brings the total number of infections in Bac Giang to 767, Bac Ninh to 391, Hanoi to 266 cases (including 89 cases at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, 35 cases at K Hospital), Da Nang to 149, Lang Son to 24.
In Da Nang:
Case 4884, male, 10 years old, address Hoa Vang district, is F1 of case 3399, was quarantined before.
Case 4885, female, 33 years old, address Hai Chau district, is F1 of case 3607, was quarantined before.
Test results on May 20 showed that the patients were positive for nCoV.
In Hanoi:
Case 4886-4887recorded at Tan Trieu K Hospital, are F1s who were quarantined in the hospital before.
In Lang Son:
Song 4888, female, 42 years old, address Huu Lung district, is a worker at Quang Chau Industrial Park, Bac Giang province, related to case 3926, was quarantined before. Test result on May 21 was positive for nCoV, patient is being treated at Huu Lung District Medical Center.
In Bac Ninh:
Case 4890-4902including 12 cases that were F1 and had been quarantined before, 1 case was a worker at Hosiden Company, Bac Giang. Test results on May 21 showed that they were positive for nCoV.
In Bac Giang:
Case 4903-4941There are 39 cases in the locked-down area, related to the outbreak in Quang Chau, Van Trung, Noi Hoang - Song Khe Industrial Park.
The imported case was quarantined immediately in Vinh Long.4889,Female, 53 years old, address Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. On May 6, she entered Can Tho airport from Malaysia on flight QH9324, the second test result on May 21 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being treated at Vinh Long Lung Hospital.
