This is an important working session to complete the draft Report on the Assessment of 5 Years of Implementation of the 10-Year Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2021-2030, and the directions and tasks for socio-economic development for the 5-year period 2026-2030, before submitting it to the 11th Central Conference.
In the documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, the Political Report is the central report, and the Socio-Economic Report is the specialized report. The Socio-Economic Report needs to be consistent with the major ideas and viewpoints in the Political Report but specify the socio-economic contents.

Over the past time, the Socio-Economic Subcommittee has spent time and effort completing the steps of the Draft Socio-Economic Report and submitting it to all levels for comments with many contents adjusted, updated and supplemented.
The draft Socio-Economic Report was commented on by the 10th Central Conference in September 2024. Recently, General Secretary To Lam chaired many working sessions with the Sub-Committees and the Standing Committees of the Sub-Committees (meeting with the Standing Committees of the Sub-Committees on February 27, meeting with the Standing Committee of the Socio-Economic Sub-Committee on March 6, meeting of the Document Sub-Committee on March 15).
Immediately after the meetings with the General Secretary, the Standing Committee of the Socio-Economic Subcommittee met (March 11) and the Socio-Economic Subcommittee held its fourth meeting (March 13) to fully absorb the General Secretary's directions and instructions to supplement and complete the Report, and at the same time continue to review and promote the implementation of related work in the coming time.
