Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An cooperate to edit and display at Kim Lien relic site

This is an activity to implement one of the contents of the "Development cooperation agreement between Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An province for the period 2019-2025".

Based on the directives and approvals of the leaders of the two localities, the revised and supplemented exhibition content at the Kim Lien Relic Site includes two main themes: Homeland, family and childhood of President Ho Chi Minh; President Ho Chi Minh with his homeland, homeland to him.

Topic 1 focuses on introducing the land of Nghe An, its geographical location, the tradition of patriotism in fighting foreign invaders, the tradition of studiousness, the cultural tradition of the homeland, historical documents about Uncle Ho's family members and events in his childhood that influenced the formation of Ho Chi Minh's personality, ideology and morality.

Topic 2 focuses on introducing documents and artifacts showing President Ho Chi Minh's affection and care for his homeland Nghe An, the affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province for him and the affection of the people of the whole country for him.

After the signing ceremony to approve the display layout, the representative of the Propaganda Department of the two localities assigned the leaders of the two Departments of Culture and Sports to directly instruct the Ho Chi Minh City Museum to preside over and coordinate with the Kim Lien Relic Site and related units of the two localities to implement the construction and adjustment of the display.

Total exhibition area is 330.82m², of which the floor area is 66.82m²; exhibition area is 264m²was constructed at two additional existing exhibition houses at Kim Lien Relic Site.

This is a meaningful project expressing the affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City for beloved Uncle Ho and his homeland. The project will be under construction from June 2019 and completed and opened in September 2019, in time to serve visitors on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of his birthday.(19/5/1890-19/5/2020)./.
