Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a series of extremely meaningful activities between the city named after Uncle Ho and his hometown, a stick of incense to pay tribute to the beloved Father of the nation who devoted his whole life to the independence, unification of the country, and the happiness of the people.
Implementing the direction of the Central Propaganda Department and the coordination program between the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Nghe An province on organizing meaningful and practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of implementing the Testament of beloved Uncle Ho (1969-2019) and the 44th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2019), on March 5-6, Ho Chi Minh City Television had a working session at the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An to discuss the plan to organize the art exchange program and the 31st Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race in 2019.

Accordingly, the art exchange program is called“From Lotus Village to Nha Rong Port”will take place at 8:00 p.m. on April 12, 2019 at two locations: Kim Lien National Special Historical Site, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province and Ho Chi Minh City Branch of President Ho Chi Minh Museum, broadcast live on Ho Chi Minh City Television, Nghe An Radio & Television Station and television stations of several localities in the country.

The 31st Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race 2019 will have the participation of 14 teams of athletes. The opening ceremony and the race start will take place at 7:30 am on April 13, 2019 at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument, Vinh City, Nghe An Province, passing through the provinces: Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Dong Nai and ending in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30, 2019.
