Vinh City expands blockade area, conducts F0 screening tests at outbreak sites in Ha Huy Tap and Hung Loc
(Baonghean.vn) - After expanding the quarantine area, Vinh City directed localities to set up checkpoints, strengthen inspection and supervision, and strictly implement "no entry, no exit", absolutely not allowing the epidemic to spread widely.

According to the CDC report, from October 15 to 25, 15 F0 cases appeared in Ha Huy Tap ward; Hung Loc commune: 27 F0 cases. Of which, 11 F0 cases were in the blockade area announced this morning, October 25.
After surveying and analyzing the situation, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh stated that although the F0s had been in the locked-down area before, there was still a high risk of a widespread outbreak. Therefore, he suggested that localities should not be subjective and should be more proactive and drastic in implementing the fight against the epidemic. In particular, it is necessary to urgently research, establish, and immediately expand the locked-down and quarantine areas in accordance with the epidemic developments.
Specifically, the quarantine area will start from the intersection of Tue Tinh Street and Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street to Alley 4 (Nguyen Lam Thai Street) - Tran Tan Street - Le Viet Thuat Street - Bui Huy Bich Street - Phung Chi Kien Street - Tue Tinh Street (except for the Traditional Medicine Hospital and Regiment 764). After expanding the quarantine area, it is necessary to set up checkpoints, strengthen inspection, supervision and strictly implement "no one in, no one out", absolutely not allowing the epidemic to spread widely.

Regarding testing, comrade Duong Dinh Chinh suggested that Vinh City continue to take samples for testing in the locked-down area according to regulations. At the same time, it is necessary to organize community screening for people in the hamlets: Mau Don; hamlets 12, 16, Phuc Loc, My Ha (Hung Loc); Yen Son, Trung Hoa (Ha Huy Tap) to promptly detect and isolate F0. In areas related to F0, it is necessary to immediately disinfect and detoxify. At the same time, continue to communicate so that people understand, not to let people worry too much and panic.
On this occasion, the Director of the Department of Health assigned the Provincial Center for Disease Control to coordinate and support the City in carrying out epidemic prevention and control in the fastest and most effective way./.
