Up to now, the Temple has been recognized as a tourist destination in Nghe An and is linked to a spiritual tour with the Hoang Muoi Temple and the Great Poet Nguyen Du Relic Site (Ha Tinh). Every year, this place attracts more than 12,000 visitors to visit and worship (an average increase of 1.5 - 2 thousand visitors/year).
Mr. Nguyen Van Xuan - Deputy of Quang Trung Temple Management Board said: Every year, the Quang Trung Emperor Temple Management Board mobilizes nearly 1 billion VND from the community to invest in upgrading. We continue to mobilize social resources to continue to embellish and improve the landscape.
Trung Do Ward also plans to build a flower road from the foot of the mountain to the Temple gate; At the same time, the Management Board will complete the spiritual and cultural facilities... to attract more and more tourists."

In 2017, the total number of tourists to Vinh City reached 1,950,000, the industry's revenue reached 800 billion VND, an increase of 31.2% over the same period. The number of tourists in the first 6 months of 2018 reached 1,105,000; revenue reached 590 billion VND.
In recent times, in addition to accelerating the planning of tourist areas, Vinh City has actively promoted its internal resources to complete infrastructure, connect traffic across Vietnam and Asia, creating favorable connections with famous tourist destinations in the province, the whole country and internationally.
At the same time, focus on developing sightseeing tourism, learning about cultural history through organizing seminars, cultural and sports events; promoting activities of linking, promoting and developing the tourism market. However, according to general assessment, the development speed of Vinh city tourism is not worthy of a central urban area; many tourism products are not highly competitive, and have not attracted investors with real capacity to invest in building tourism projects. According to Mr. Vo Hong Sang - General Director of Thai Son International Travel Joint Stock Company: Tourists have a good impression of some historical sites, scenic spots, and shopping areas in Vinh city, but they still lack information and do not know much about tourist attractions in Vinh. Vinh's night tourism does not have any highlights that make tourists want to explore and enjoy such as Hue royal music on the Huong River or the Han River night market.
Mr. Vo Ba Nguyen - Director of Vinh Guru Tourism Company is concerned about some destinations in Vinh, tourists have the need to visit and explore but the services here are not really attractive, lack professionalism so it is difficult to retain tourists.
Discussing the "weaknesses" that have prevented the city's tourism from making a breakthrough, Mr. Bui Quang Phuong - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Vinh City said: The reason is that the propaganda and promotion of tourism is still limited, not attracting the attention of travel agencies to participate in building regional tour linkages; there are no specific solutions to effectively build a civilized urban lifestyle and behavioral culture. State management has not been strengthened, the staff working in tourism is still limited in capacity and experience.

With the orientation of developing Vinh into a tourism service center, in addition to efforts to overcome the above-mentioned shortcomings, the city has determined that developing tourism on an urban basis means focusing on accelerating the progress of urban infrastructure projects, building urban civilization, behavioral culture, awareness of protecting resources, and the tourism environment for the people.
